Today I have control of my eating. I am doing good. I got up and exercised for twenty minutes. I had water then I had oatmeal with peaches for breakfast.
I got a little hungry this morning a couple of hours after breakfast, so I drunk water. Lunch I had self control and I feel like I did not over eat. I had a roast beef sandwhich on wheat bread with provolone cheese and swiss chees. I also had a hand full of salt and vinegar chips. I had Mellow Yellow for drink. I know that is not the healthiest lunch but like I said I did not OVER eat which is key for ME. The goal for me is to get CONTROL of my eating. I will work on the healthy part after the holidays.
Last week I would have had two roast beef sandwhiches and half the bag of chips. SERIOUSLY!! I told y'all I was bad. I was on my way to obesity. My stomach hangs over my pants now. I can barely button and zip my pants. I hate looking at my self naked in the mirrow. I don't have any energy. This has got to go.
Ok I know y'all are thinking I am being to hard on myself I have to be in order to turn things around before they get worse. We can make all the excuses we want. "I am big boned, I am on medicene that makes me eat, Big is the new sexy, I love me some me, Accept me for the way I am."....NO, NO, NO. The truth is your miserable and out of shape. Let's get some self-control. From now on we eat to live not live to eat.

What Happened?
What happened to me the last seven months? Well, a lot. The journey has not been good. I have gained more then twenty pounds in the last seven months.
I became an emotional eater. I was on a circle of eating then regretting I ate so I would eat some more. This time I am going to take you all with me on this journey. The journey is going to be real.
The first step if for me to get out of this slump, the slump I have been in for seven months. I got burned out and lazy. I am wearing different hats in my life right now. Plus I deal with insecurities.
I am insecure about whether I am good enough. I have got to learn to be me, no matter what. I am not shaped like Beyonce or Rihanna. I am not Halle Berry either. I don't have a big bottom, big breast and small waiste. Instead of the insecurities making me push harder to be a better me, it does the opposite. I get to a point when I don't care and just start feeling sorry for myself. I try to eat away my insecurities which in the long run is just making everything worse and makes me feel worse.
I want the skinny waiste and the nice body which I was on my way to at the first half of the year but then it seemed like it wasn't good enough. I guess there is always room for improvement but not to the point where it makes me quit and not care about myself.
This is it! Today I declare and decree I am a beautiful woman of God and I am not going to have any more slumps. I am not going to have any more slumps physically and spiritually.

Reset Button
I watched a movie around Christmas time about a man who kept messing up Christmas for his family. He had to relive the same day over and over again until he made all the right decisions. He had to treat everyone with respect and have the perfect day before he could move on to the next day. He was getting a chance to hit the reset button on bad decisions that he made. Wouldn't it be nice if we could all hit a reset button on life or at least when we make mistakes?
Guess what, we do have a reset button. The reset button has a name, Jesus Christ. PRAISE GOD!!! Jesus died so we can have a reset button. He forgives us and does not condemn us for our bad decisions. He helps us get out of the bad stuff we got ourselves into. I am so greatful for my reset button cause I would not be sitting here typing this blog if it were not for Him. When we believe that Jesus is the son of God and confess our wrongs, then we will be saved, made new. He loves us so much that He resets us and does not remember the wrong we did. 2 Corinthans 5:17 in the CEV Bible "Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new."

Not Quite Swimsuit Ready?
Are you ready for the swimming pool? If not, do not give up. It is not too late to trim down and change to a healthy lifestyle. The spring time is a good time to get outside and burn extra calories. The nice weather will help you melt off pounds in no time. Going for a long, brisk walk or jog outside will burn lots of calories. Playing sports with friends and/or family is also fun. Nothing like a good basketball game or tennis match outside, especially if you win. Remember to drink plenty of water while doing outside activities.
Spring time is also when fruit is blooming. Fruit is a great substitute for the sweet tooth. Instead of going for that gallon of ice cream, go for a bag of orange. Another sweet tooth craving healthy treat goes back to my child hood, frozen juice cubes. Poor your favorite juice in ice cube trays and put them in the freezer. About half way through the freezing process stick tooth picks or Popsicle sticks in the middle of each cube. Once they are frozen remove the tray and their is a healthy snack. Frozen yogurt and sherbet are also light, healthy snacks that curve that sweet tooth craving.
Once again remember to drink plenty of water. Do not do a crash course diet where you starve yourself for a week, it is not healthy. Instead, make being healthy a lifestyle.
